It may seem like an obvious statement, but it makes a big difference if you think someone is dead or alive. If someone you know has died, their story is complete. You can have lots of memories, but you cannot have new shared experiences to continue your story together. You are limited to looking back with fondness about who they were, what they accomplished, or even what they meant to you. However, if a person is alive, it changes everything! You have the opportunity to build your relationship, experience new things, and even be surprised by things they do. Death means you have history together. Life means you can have a future together.

Living Jesus Mini

The same is true for Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ is dead, Christianity is limited to history. It is dead. The story is completed. But if Jesus is alive then Christianity is living, and it has a great future. If Jesus is alive, the story continues. This would change everything. Therefore, the most important question you can ask yourself is this: Do you think Jesus Christ is dead or alive?
