Jesus was the master story teller. In fact, approximately one third of the words of Jesus recorded in the Bible were stories. These stories are called parables.

A parable is a comparison of two or more things to help us understand a spiritual truth. And as Jesus told these parables, he wanted people to understand about the Kingdom of God and how His kingdom was different than what we might expect. His Kingdom offers a new reality of life for those who need hope. His Kingdom brings about justice and mercy. His Kingdom is being built by people who receive Jesus as their King. His Kingdom is even mysterious. In telling us these stories about His Kingdom, Jesus extends an offer to all people to be a part of it.

This sermon series on the parables of Jesus was taught at Imprint Church in Woodinville WA from May-June 2013. Listen to these recordings to discover how you can be a part of the great story of God, and how you can open your heart and mind to make Him the King of your life.
