Alice Found Hope & Purpose Through Africa New Life

Posted on: March 31, 2017

Alice grew up in a small house in Rwanda. Her parents didn’t know Jesus, and her father was an alcoholic.

Alice learned about Africa New Life (ANL) and her life was changed. She received the support she needed to continue her schooling and she experienced the power of the gospel.

As part of her schooling, Alice was able to do what she loves, worshiping Jesus in the New Life Children’s Choir.

Africa New Life has two goals for each child they work with; to complete high school and to bring them into a loving relationship with and knowledge of Christ. Sponsorship covers school fees, scholastic materials, a uniform, center day, camp and medical assistance.

In addition to child sponsorships, ANL provides vocational training for sewing and cosmetology, moving 80 to 95 women toward a better life. They’ve established New Life Bible Churches in 5 communities in Rwanda. They provide formal theological training to Rwandan pastors through the Africa College of Theology.

Later this year Africa New Life will open the Dream Medical Center in Kigali. It’s mission is to meet the needs of patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually, for the glory of Jesus Christ.

You have the power to change a life, to give a child the chance to dream. If you’re interested in sponsoring a child, head over to to learn more about the process and what you can do to help.

“When you sponsor a kid, you’re changing the world in general. You are giving a chance to one life, but this life may be able to give a chance to a thousand lives and more.” -John Bosco, sponsored student
