Advancing Together – Stepping Out in Faith

Advancing

All because of God’s grace, the Lord has seen fit to continually grow our church community over our first year together. There have even been a few Sundays where we were short on chairs! Expecting continued growth as we enter the Fall, we are going to launch a second Sunday gathering starting on October 13, 2013 – our church’s 1st year anniversary! A second worship gathering will make room for new people.

Our Advisory Board and ministry leaders have been prayerfully asking the Lord about this for a few months, and have sought your counsel in the process. As a result, we have decided to take this step of faith. We are excited for this because it gives more people opportunities to serve, and allows more people a chance to hear the Good News of Jesus.

At Imprint Church, we like to say that we plan in pencil because we are learning on the go and want to be flexible for God’s leading. So, we know that we may have to adjust along the way. Please keep in mind that we are seeing this as a bit of an experiment, and we may see some course corrections! More details to come, but our new gathering times starting on October 13, 2013 are 9:15 AM and 10:45 AM.

For those of you who love to fellowship together (I think that’s all of you!), we ask you to get involved in serving somewhere, join a Generosity Group, and/or come early or stay late on Sunday mornings depending on which gathering you attend. We want to continue to build the culture and “family feel” at Imprint Church so we need your involvement.

For you families, we will be offering Imprint’s R.E.A.L. Kids (K-6th grade) during the 9:15 AM service, and Imprint’s R.E.A.L. Beginnings (0-5 years old) during both of our gatherings. If you’ve been thinking about it anyway, now is the time to join the Imprint Kids team because you will also be able to attend a worship gathering.

Will you join us in praying for God to do great things in and through us this Fall and beyond?
