Is That a Garden?
by Darren Larson
Sunday, July 9th, we had the privilege to commission Pastor Darren as he prepares to head to Rwanda. Yesterday, he left for the PDX airport to fly out. He’ll be speaking at a pastor’s conference as well as have the chance to visit Africa New Life, a ministry we support in many different ways.
So in light of this, we thought we’d share some photos of the garden that Imprint Church helped fund last Christmas as a generosity project. Through your generous giving, Imprint was able to bless the the people of Bugesera, Rwanda with over $29,000 for a community garden.
Now when you think of a garden, you might think of a few 4 foot boxes in your yard with a few small rows of carrots and tomatoes. I guess people in Rwanda have something different in mind when they say “garden”!
That looks more like a farm to me! But what an amazing thing that we could show the love of Christ and bless the people of Bugesera.
Thank you for your generosity. Please continue to keep Pastor Darren in prayer as he invests into pastors and leaders in Rwanda. And also look for more information soon about the next team trip to Rwanda in the Fall of 2018.
