Hey Traveling Partners,
At our Family Meeting back in April we shared some exciting news for Imprint Woodinville: starting in August, we will no longer share a building with the Check Ride Driving School. The driving school is permanently closing at the end of July and the building will only be Imprint Church in Woodinville. This means that we will have use of the entire building both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
In light of this, our Elders have decided to do what we can to make this space more hospitable with some renovations. These include things like a new front entrance and lobby area adjacent to our paved parking lot, another multi-use classroom space, widening our hallway from the lobby to the auditorium, putting in some offices, and replacing the razor wire fence with something a little more welcoming!
The goal is not to be fancy as we have sort of liked our identity as "the church in the truck driving school." The goal is hospitality. A welcoming environment. These renovations will give us more space for people to meaningfully connect on Sundays and beyond. It also gives space for our Lead Team from both our locations to have a place to do ministry throughout the week.
Our building plans are in final review at the City of Woodinville, and we have hired a general contractor for the work. We have budgeted $500,000 for the work. Thanks to the long-term generosity of our church community, we are happy to say that we can pay for this renovation with cash reserves and we do not need to do a building campaign! However, we would also prefer not to deplete our savings. So we want to prayerfully invite you into giving to the Facilities Improvement Fund.
These donations will go straight to building improvements at Imprint Church — both Bothell and Woodinville. You can choose that option from the dropdown menu on the App or on our website, or just make sure to note that in some way if you use cash or check.
