Your OnRamp for Serving
Hey Traveling Partners,
At Imprint, we emphasize being a healthy church. We’ve articulated this health in eight words: Jesus, Bible, Worship, Unity, Prayer, Generosity, Witness, and Love. We hold that a healthy church will maintain focus on these ideas.
Today, we want to talk about unity. We aren't talking about unity in a "sit in a circle and sing Kumbaya," kind of way. We are talking about it in an Ephesians 4 way:
But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ. From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.
The Church is pictured as a unified human body with diverse parts. Notice it says that the body grows up into Christ (that’s health)—when each part is working properly. You know what those parts are? You and me—US. We’re the parts of the body.
At Imprint, we define unity like this:
Every believer in Jesus is unified in one “body”—the church—and each has a Spirit-given gift to develop other disciples and glorify God by building the body. Because we belong to one body, we call everyone to be builders, not merely bystanders.
We have a biblical vision for every member of Imprint Church to use their spiritual gifts to serve the body. If we want to be a healthy church and live the vision of Ephesians 4, then we need to give you the opportunity to be builders, not bystanders.
So this weekend, we’re inviting you to join a ministry team where you can serve and contribute to the strength and health of the church. We call this OnRamp. We will have tables representing each ministry at both locations manned by a ministry leader who will be happy to answer any questions you might have about serving.
If you're out of town this weekend, fear not! We have an online form that allows you to request information on serving. There is no commitment in signing up or asking questions. You are simply beginning a conversation in order to find a way to contribute.

If Imprint is your church, would you ask the Lord where he might be calling you to build into the unity of the Church Body? There are lots of places to get involved. Come find where you fit!
