INTRODUCING

IMPRINT

WELCOME

At Imprint church we strive to be a people who love Jesus and are known more for our gratitude and generosity in Christ than anything else. We want to be part of the gospel’s transforming work in people’s lives, our community, and our world.

If you don’t consider yourself a follower of Jesus but would like to know more about what this means, this is a great starting point for you. We welcome you to our community just as you are, and would love to talk more with you.

If you do believe in Jesus and are looking for a church community, we invite you to join us in our mission to make and multiply grateful and generous disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

OUR VISION

Hebrews 1:3 // [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature. We want Imprint Church to give an impression of the goodness and glory of Jesus Christ and make an impact on our communities through His good news.
The starting point for Imprint Church is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which creates gratitude in us, which in turn fuels our generosity.

GOSPEL

Everything begins with the truth that God gave his Son Jesus to reconcile individuals through his death and resurrection, gather them together as one people, and send them out into the world on one mission. This vision of the gospel informs and shapes everything about church ministry.

GRATITUDE

Because God gave his Son Jesus for our salvation, the natural and appropriate response to this gift is gratitude. This gratitude for what God has done compels us to be like God in living lives of generosity.

GENEROSITY

As recipients of God’s generosity, we want to “be imitators of God” (Ephesians 5:1) and love others through Christ-like, sacrificial generosity. The gospel compels us not only to proclaim it but also to do good works in Jesus’ name, thereby demonstrating the reality of his already-but-not-yet Kingdom.

ONE CHURCH

TOGETHER IN JESUS

Imprint Church is a non-denominational church that gathers in two locations (Woodinville and Bothell).

In October 2012, Imprint Church was planted as an independent church by members of Northshore Community Church. In February 2018, Imprint Bothell was planted by Imprint Church in Woodinville. We maintain relationship with the North Sound Network, which is made up of many churches in the Converge denomination, but are not officially affiliated.

In what we call a “Family of Churches” model, Imprint Church Woodinville (IW) and Imprint Church Bothell (IB) share a common ministry philosophy and doctrine. Though each location has its own lead pastor and lay and paid staff members, we currently share one elder board, budget, student ministry (in Woodinville) and occasionally combine for larger gatherings. We believe we are stronger together than apart.

Imprint gathers weekly for Sunday worship and throughout the week in smaller gatherings like Imprint Groups, Bible Studies, and Practicum classes.

GATHERINGS

We share the Gospel every Sunday through Christ-centered preaching and worship for all age groups. God’s Word is the fuel for living lives of gratitude and generosity.

We meet as one church in two locations in Bothell and Woodinville on Sundays at 9:00AM and 11:00AM

TRAVELING PARTNERS

Imprint is using the metaphor of travelling partners to think about discipleship to Jesus and how we organize as a community. Following Jesus includes daily travelling partners as well as more occasional travelling partners. Some companions on the road stay together for a long time (Imprint Groups are a great example), while other travelling partners gather for a shorter period of time (Men’s and Women’s Bible studies) or for a specific purpose (Practicum).

No disciple can commit to everything always, but every disciple needs to be in regular relationship with others as they follow Jesus. Discipleship is about relationship.

ELDERS

Imprint is governed by an internally selected and congregationally affirmed elder team who meet the New Testament qualifications for eldership (e.g. 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1) and are accountable to each other.

CHURCH HEALTH

We’re committed to being a healthy church body as defined by the Bible. The following represents our core convictions for church health.

JESUS

The foundation and focus of all church life is the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, and the eternal life that comes by grace through faith in Christ alone.

BIBLE

The Bible is God’s authoritative, powerful, life- transforming word to humanity. Its focal point is the good news of Jesus. In our Sunday gatherings, we typically preach through books of the Bible, always proclaiming Jesus.

WORSHIP

Christian worship is born out of grateful response to God’s undeserved kindness to us through the work of Jesus. Worship is both a corporate act that reminds believers of what God has done and also an individual act that seeks to glorify God in every aspect of life.

UNITY

Believers in Jesus are unified in one “body”—the Church—and each believer has Spirit-given gifts to develop other disciples and glorify God by building the body. Because we belong to one body, we call everyone to be builders, not merely bystanders.

PRAYER

As human bodies are powerless without food to fuel them, we are powerless to faithfully follow Jesus apart from the empowerment of his Spirit. So we live in prayerful dependence.

GENEROSITY

We follow the way of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. Motivated by gratitude for the gospel, we gladly give away the resources we have been entrusted with. The result is a life of generously serving others.

WITNESS

The good news and life-saving power of Jesus spreads and makes new disciples not merely through inviting people to “church.” It happens when followers of Jesus have compassion for those who don’t know him yet and a passion to make him known, and therefore boldly take opportunities to verbally share the gospel.

LOVE

Love is the heartfelt commitment to another person’s good and is the preeminent mark of Christlikeness. Therefore we want our individual lives and our church community to embody genuine love and affection for God and one another.
